การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาหลักสูตรปฐมวัย โดยใช้สาระท้องถิ่นจังหวัดจันทบุรี 2) เพื่อประเมินคุณภาพของหลักสูตรปฐมศึกษา โดยใช้สาระท้องถิ่นจังหวัดจันทบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย เป็นเด็กชั้นอนุบาลปีที่ 2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2556 ของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กวัดป่าคลองกุ้ง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดจันทบุรี อายุ 5 ปี จำนวน 26 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสอบถามความต้องการในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรปฐมวัยศึกษา หลักสูตรปฐมวัยศึกษา โดยใช้สาระท้องถิ่นจังหวัดจันทบุรีที่พัฒนาขึ้น แผนการจัดประสบการณ์ แบบประเมินความสอดคล้องของหลักสูตร แบบประเมินความสอดคล้องของแผนการจัดประสบการณ์ระดับปฐมวัยศึกษา และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้และเจตคติที่มีต่อท้องถิ่น สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หลักสูตรปฐมวัยศึกษา โดยใช้สาระท้องถิ่นจังหวัดจันทบุรีที่พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วยเนื้อหา 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ สภาพแวดล้อมทางภูมิศาสตร์ ประวัติความเป็นมาและบุคคลสำคัญ ขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีศิลปวัฒนธรรม ภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้าน การประกอบอาชีพ และสถานที่สำคัญ สำหรับการประเมินคุณภาพของหลักสูตร พบว่า หลักสูตรสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของท้องถิ่น องค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของหลักสูตร วัตถุประสงค์ เนื้อหา กิจกรรมการประเมินผลมีความสอดคล้องกัน อีกทั้งเหมาะสมกับวัยและพัฒนาการของเด็ก เมื่อนำไปจัดประสลบการณ์ให้เด็กปฐมวัยพบว่า สามารถส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านร่างกาย อารมณ์ จิตใจ สังคมและสติปัญญา อีกทั้งทำให้เด็กมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับท้องถิ่นจังหวัดจันทบุรีในด้านต่าง ๆ และส่งเสริมให้เด็กมีเจตคติที่ดีต่อท้องถิ่น

The purposes of this Research were to : 1) develop an early childhood curriculum with the use of local substance in Chanthaburi Province and 2) evaluate the quality of the developed early childhood curriculum with the use of local substance in Chanthaburi Province. The sample employed for experimentation with the developed early childhood curriculum with the use of local substance in Chanthaburi Province consisted of 26 purposively selected year kindergarten pupils who were studying in the second semester of the 2013 academic year at Child Development Centers Wat Pa Khlong Kung Ampler Mueng Chanthaburi Province. Research instruments included a questionnaire on the needs for development of an early childhood curriculum; the developed early childhood curriculum with the use of local substance in Chanthaburi Province; experience organizing plans; an evaluation form for assessment of the relevancy of the curriculum; an evaluation form for assessment of the relevancy of experience organizing plans at the early childhood education level; and an observation form on learning behaviors and attitudes toward the locality. Statistical procedures for data analysis included the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Research finding showed that the developed early childhood curriculum with the use of local substance of Chanthaburi Province comprised six content areas, namely, geographical condition; historical background and prominent persons; customs, traditions, and arts and culture; local wisdom; occupations; and importance places. As for the quality of the curriculum, it was found that the curriculum was relevant to local needs. Its components, namely, the objectives, contents, activities, and evaluation were relevant with each other and appropriate with the age and development level of children. When it was implemented to provide experiences for early childhood pupils, it was found that it could enhance all four aspects of child development, namely, the physical, emotional and mental, social, and intellectual aspects. It also enabled children to gain knowledge and understanding concerning various aspects of Chanthaburi Province locality and promoted pupils’ good attitudes toward the locality.
