การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เพื่อออกแบบจำลองระบบตรวจสอบย้อนกลับผลไม้ทุเรียน กรณีศึกษาการบรรจุทุเรียนส่งออก ได้พบปัญหาเกี่ยวกับทุเรียนที่ไม่มีคุณภาพ คือทุเรียนอ่อน หรือไม่ได้มาตรฐานการส่งออก ไม่สามารถตรวจสอบได้ว่าทุเรียนเป็นของเกษตรกรคนใด จึงทำให้เกิดผลเสียในเรื่องการค้ากับต่างประเทศ และเพื่อให้ผู้บริโภคเกิดความมั่นใจต่อสินค้า ในด้านของคุณภาพ รวมถึงเพื่อให้ทราบแหล่งที่มาของทุเรียน เพราะถ้าหากผู้บริโภคพบทุเรียนที่ไม่ได้คุณภาพ ผู้บริโภคสามารถสืบย้อนกลับไปหาแหล่งที่มาการผลิตนั้นๆได้อย่างถูกต้อง คณะผู้วิจัยได้ลงพื้นที่เพื่อสำรวจข้อมูลที่สำคัญต่อระบบที่ได้มาออกแบบจำลองระบบตรวจสอบย้อนกลับ ใช้ทฤษฏี ER Diagarm (Entity Relation Diadarm) โดยประยุกต์ใช้ Barcode ในรูปแบบ QR code และมีการบันทึกข้อมูลของเกษตรกรลงในระบบ สรุปผลการดำเนินงานวิจัยจากการนำโปรแกรมมาทดสอบ การแสกน QR code สามารถแสกนได้จริงและจะสามารถตรวจสอบข้อมูลของเกษตรกรที่นำทุเรียนมาขายให้บริษัทอย่างละเอียด ในการพัฒนางานวิจัยในครั้งนี้ได้ดำเนินการทดลองและในอนาคตจะสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง เพื่อประโยชน์ต่อมูลค่าการส่งออกได้
