การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาครู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี และเพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาครู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักศึกษาครูชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 202 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบวัดความฉลาดทางสังคม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ค่าร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. นักศึกษาครูมีระดับคะแนนความฉลาดทางสังคมโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง 2. แนวทางการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาครู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ รำไพพรรณี สรุปได้ว่า กลุ่มผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมีความเห็นว่า การส่งเสริมความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาครู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณีนั้น ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิส่วนใหญ่แสดงความคิดเห็นว่าควรมีการจัดกิจกรรมค่าย ชมรม หรือโครงการเพื่อศึกษาเรียนรู้สังคมจริง เน้นการตระหนักรู้ทางสังคมมีการลงพื้นที่ ไม่ยึดติดกับห้องเรียนหรือมีการสอดแทรกในรายวิชา เช่น การรับรู้ข่าวสารบ้านเมือง ทุก ๆ ด้าน เพื่อฝึกการคิด รู้จักวิเคราะห์ แยกแยะ คิดบวก หรือคิดอย่างสร้างสรรค์ ทำความเข้าใจถึงสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ในสังคมเพื่อการตัดสินใจแสดงพฤติกรรมที่เหมาะสมต่อสถานการณ์นั้นเกิดการเรียนรู้ที่จะอยู่ร่วมกับผู้อื่นและฝึกปฏิบัติในเรื่องของมารยาทการแสดงออกทางด้านความรู้สึกและการสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับบุคคลอื่น การเป็นผู้นำ การสื่อสารและรับฟังผู้อื่น

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the social quotient of Education Students and 2) to find out the guidelines for promoting the social quotient of Education Students at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. The sample group was 202 first-year Education Students. The data were collected by using social quotient measures. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings showed that ; 1) Education students entirely had a high level of social quotient and ; 2) the guidelines for promoting the social quotient of Education Students according to most experts’ comments could be concluded camp activities, clubs or projects to learn the real society emphasizing on social awareness by organizing activities on sites, not learning only in the classroom, or inserting into courses such as acknowledging news in every aspect to practice thinking, analyzing, identifying, positive thinking or creative thinking. Additionally trying to understand the various situations in society for making decision to behave appropriately to that situation to learn how to live with other people and practice manners in expressing feelings, building relationship, being a leader, communicating and listening to others.
