แผนงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยว สินค้าท่องเที่ยวและ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการจัดการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนระดับตำบล อันจะนาไปสู่การพัฒนายุทธศาสตร์การบูรณาการและจัดทาฐานข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนเพื่อการผลิตซ้าเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในจังหวัดจันทบุรีและตราด วิธีการศึกษาในงานวิจัยนี้ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการวิจัย แบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Method) ระหว่างการวิจัยเอกสาร (Documentary Research) การวิจัยประวัติศาสตร์จากการบอกเล่า (Oral History) การสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง (Structured Interview) และการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ฐานะทางยุทธศาสตร์ในการท่องเที่ยวชุมชนของจังหวัดจันทบุรีและตราดที่มีลักษณะยุทธศาสตร์เชิงรุกคือ ควรมุ่งใช้จุดแข็งของจังหวัดจันทบุรีและตราดเพื่อมาพัฒนาให้เป็นประโยชน์ต่อโอกาสที่เอื้ออานวย ส่วนข้อเสนอเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ในการขับเคลื่อนการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชน ได้แก่ การให้ความสาคัญ ต่อความเชื่อมโยงการท่องเที่ยวชุมชนชายฝั่งทะเลตามแนวระเบียงเศรษฐกิจตอนใต้ (Southern Economic Corridor) ของจังหวัดจันทบุรีและตราดไปสู่ประเทศกัมพูชาและเวียดนาม โดยเริ่มตั้งแต่ชุมชนคลองขุด จังหวัดจันทบุรี ที่เป็นพื้นที่ตั้งของหาดเจ้าหลาว ไปสู่ชุมชนชายฝั่ง อำเภอคลองใหญ่ และเชื่อมกับชายฝั่งจังหวัดเกาะกง สีหนุวิลล์ กัมปอตและแกบของประเทศกัมพูชา รวมถึงจังหวัด ฮาเตียนและกาเมาของประเทศเวียดนาม ข้อเสนอยุทธศาสตร์ดังกล่าวในระยะแรกนั้นควรให้ความสาคัญต่อการท่องเที่ยวในเขตชายฝั่งทะเลของประเทศกัมพูชาเป็นหลักคือ กลยุทธ์การสร้างบทบาทคู่ขนานของตราดและเกาะกง ส่วนในระยะที่สองนั้น ควรขยายไปสู่การท่องเที่ยวในเขตชายฝั่งทะเลของประเทศเวียดนาม ทางเลือกหนึ่งของยุทธศาสตร์ในระยะที่สองนี้ก็คือ กลยุทธ์การพัฒนา การเดินทางทางเรือ

This research scheme was aimed to survey tourism resources, tourism products, and tourism facilities operated by the sub-district communities leading to the development of integrated strategies for the reproduction of sufficiency economy in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces. The documentary research, oral history, structured interview, and in-depth interview based on the mixed method research methodology were employed in this study. The results found that the strategic status in the community tourism in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces was the approach strategies focusing on applying and developing the strengths of Chanthaburi and Trat provinces in order to create more advantages and favorable opportunities. The proposed strategies for the tourism driven by the communities included the emphasis on the coastal community tourism connection of Chanthaburi and Trat provinces according to the Southern Economic Corridor, linking to Cambodia and Vietnam, starting from Khlong Khut Community, situated at Chao Lao Beach, leading to the coastal communities of Khlong Yai district, connecting with the coast line of Koh Kong provinces and Sihanoukville Kampot of Cambodia as well Ha Tien and Ca Mau provinces in Vietnam. The first phase of the proposed strategies should be prioritized in the tourism of coastal areas in Cambodia consisting of the establishment of parallel role strategies between Koh Kong and Trat provinces. The second phase should be the extension of tourism in the coastal areas of Vietnam considered as one option of the strategies which included maritime transport development strategies.
