การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการกำจัดขยะมูลฝอยในเขตเทศบาลตำบลพลับพลา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดจันทบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในเขตเทศบาลตำบลพลับพลา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดจันทบุรี จำนวน 1,254 ครัวเรือน โดยการสุ่มแบบบังเอิญ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ประชาชนในเขตเทศบาลตำบลพลับพลา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดจันทบุรีมีความรู้ในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยในครัวเรือน อยู่ในระดับสูง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 91.07 ( =16.85, S.D.=2.36) ทัศนคติในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยในครัวเรือน โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่ง ( =4.40) พฤติกรรมในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยในครัวเรือน โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =3.82) เมื่อพิจารณาพฤติกรรมในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยในครัวเรือนตามด้านต่างๆ พบว่า ด้านการคัดแยกขยะมูลฝอย มีพฤติกรรมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =3.54) ด้านการเก็บรวบรวมขยะมูลฝอย มีพฤติกรรมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.00) ด้านการเก็บขนขยะมูลฝอย มีพฤติกรรมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( =4.37) และด้านการกำจัดขยะมูลฝอย มีพฤติกรรมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( =3.37) การมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการกำจัดขยะมูลฝอย โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =3.86) เมื่อจำแนกเป็นรายด้าน โดยเรียงลำดับค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไปหาน้อย พบว่า ด้านการรับผลประโยชน์อยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.19) ด้านการดำเนินการอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =4.13) ด้านการประเมินผลอยู่ในระดับมาก ( =3.77) และด้านการตัดสินใจอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( =3.35)

The purpose of this research was to study the people’s participation for solid waste disposal in Municipal of Plubpla Sub-district, Mueang District, Chanthaburi Province. The method approach of quantitative research of used. The sample was randomized. The sample size was calculated by the Yamane’s formula of 1,254 households. The data collection tool was the questionnaire with a 5-ratings scale. The data was analyzed by using the frequency distribution method, percentage with the finding the mean and standard deviation. An overview of the research results show that participation of community for solid waste disposal in Municipal of Plubpla Sub-district was at a hight level 91.07 percentage ( =16.85, S.D.=2.36). The attitude toward household waste management the overall level is very agreeable ( =4.40), behavior in household waste management. The overall level is very high ( =3.82). When considering each aspect of household waste management behavior it appears that the waste sorting. Behavior was at the high level ( =3.54), waste collection behavior was at the high level ( =4.00), A garbage collection behavior was at the highest level ( =4.37), and the waste disposal behavior was in the medium level ( =3.37). The people’s participation in waste disposal the overall level is very high ( =3.86). When classified as each sort by average was high. It appears that the benefits were the high level ( =4.19), the operation was at a high level ( =4.13), the evaluation is at a high level ( =3.77), and the decision making was at a moderate level ( =3.35).
