งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดสร้างอุปกรณ์เก็บเกี่ยวผลมังคุด เพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงอันตราย จากการปีนป่ายต้นมังคุด สำหรับกลุ่มชุมชนตำบลรำพัน อำเภอท่าใหม่ จังหวัดจันทบุรี โดยด้าม ไม้สอยสามารถยืดยาวได้สูงสุดเท่ากับ 6 เมตร และสามารถหดให้สั้นสุดเท่ากับ 2.80 เมตร มีระยะเวลาในการใช้งานต่อเนื่องได้เท่ากับ 2 ชั่วโมง และใช้เวลาในการชาร์จพลังงานให้กับกล้องขนาดเล็กเท่ากับ 1.20 ชั่วโมง ด้ามไม้สอยมีน้ำหนักโดยรวมเท่ากับ 200 กรัม ถุงตะกร้อสามารถรองรับผลมังคุดได้สูงสุดจำนวน 10 ผล และใช้เวลาเฉลี่ยในการเก็บเกี่ยวผลมังคุดครั้งละ 10 ผล (ผลลักษณะสายเลือด) ด้วยอุปกรณ์เก็บเกี่ยวผลมังคุด และด้วยวิธีปีนป่ายขึ้นไปบนต้นมังคุด จะใช้เวลาเท่ากับ 4 นาที และ 10 นาที ตามลำดับ ซึ่งในการใช้งานต่อเนื่อง 2 ชั่วโมง การเก็บเกี่ยว ด้วยอุปกรณ์เก็บเกี่ยวผลมังคุดและด้วยวิธีปีนป่ายขึ้นไปบนต้นมังคุด กระทำได้เท่ากับ 30 กิโลกรัม และ 12 กิโลกรัม ตามลำดับ โดยมีค่าเปอร์เซ็นต์ความผิดพลาดในการเก็บเกี่ยวผลอ่อนหรือผลดิบ ด้วยอุปกรณ์เก็บเกี่ยวผลมังคุด และด้วยวิธีปีนป่ายขึ้นไปบนต้นมังคุด เท่ากับร้อยละ 2 และร้อยละ 15 ตามลำดับ โดยจะมีค่าไฟฟ้าต่อการชาร์จประจุหนึ่งครั้งเท่ากับ 0.32 บาท

This research aims to develop a mangosteen harvesting device to reduce the risks associated with climbing mangosteen trees, specifically for the Ramphan Subdistrict, Tha Mai District, Chanthaburi Province community group. The device features a telescopic pole that extend up to 6 meters and retract to a minimum length of 2.80 meters. It operates continuously for up to 2 hours and requires 1.2 hours to recharge the small integrated camera. The pole weighs 200 grams, and the attached basket can hold up to 10 mangosteen fruits. The device significantly improves efficiency, reducing the time needed to harvest 10 fruits (mangosteen with blood streaks) to 4 minutes, compared to 10 minutes using the traditional tree climbing methods. Over a continuous 2-hour period, the device enables the harvesting of 30 kilograms of mangosteen, while the climbing method yields only 12 kilograms. The error rate for harvesting immature or unripe fruits is reduced to 2 % with the device, compared to 15 % with traditional methods. Additionally, The cost of electricity for recharging the device is only 0.32 baht per charge.
