แผนงานวิจัยการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ในชุมชนด้วยเทคโนโลยีแอลอีดี มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาต้นแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ในชุมชนด้วยเทคโนโลยีแอลอีดี และเพื่อวิเคราะห์ตลาดของผลิตภัณฑ์แอลอีดีในชุมชน วิธีการวิจัยคือ การพัฒนาข้อกำหนดและแนวคิดในการออกแบบ การศึกษาแนวคิดผลิตภัณฑ์ การออกแบบให้เป็นรูปร่างและการออกแบบในรายละเอียด การสร้างต้นแบบและทดสอบใช้งาน สรุปผลการวิจัยคือ จากการศึกษาข้อมูลได้พัฒนาข้อกำหนดและแนวคิดในการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ด้วยแอลอีดี จากการวิเคราะห์ตลาดได้แนวคิดผลิตภัณฑ์ของกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้จัดทำรูปแบบและออกแบบรายละเอียดของผลิตภัณฑ์ และได้จัดทำต้นแบบผลิตภัณฑ์กับการทดสอบใช้รวม 4 ผลิตภัณฑ์ นั่นคือ (1) ผลิตภัณฑ์ตู้ครอบพระพร้อมแสง เป็นการให้แสงสว่างภายในตู้ครอบพระตามหลักวิชาการ เนื้อพระพุทธรูปเปล่งประกายได้มากขึ้น (2) ผลิตภัณฑ์แสงสว่างปลอดภัยในห้องน้ำ ให้แสงสว่างด้วยแอลอีดีที่ห้องน้ำด้วยค่าแรงดัน 12 โวลต์ ทำให้รับประกันความปลอดภัยจากไฟฟ้าในระบบแสงสว่าง (3) ผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องวัดแสงสว่างด้วยแอลอีดี ใช้แอลอีดีมาประยุกต์ให้เป็นตัวตรวจวัดแสง เพื่อใช้แทนเซ็นเซอร์ตรวจวัดแสงแบบเดิม ทำให้มีราคาต่ำลงกว่าเดิม (4) ผลิตภัณฑ์ไฟหน้าจักรยานด้วยแอลอีดี ใช้พลังงานลมจากการปั่นจักรยานให้มาหมุนกังหันลม ทำให้ไฟหน้าจักรยานซึ่งเป็นแอลอีดีสว่างขึ้นได้ จากการทดสอบผลิตภัณฑ์ทั้งหมดพบว่าสามารถใช้งานได้ตามข้อกำหนด

This purposes of the research on community products development by LED Technology were to develop community product prototype by LED technology and to analyze the market of community LED products. The research methods included development of specifications and design concepts, study of product concepts, embodiment design and detailed design, prototype building and testing. The research results found that; the specifications and design concepts by LED were developed from studying the information and the target group’s product concepts were derived from analyzing the market as well as embodiment design and detailed design and prototype product building and testing four products including : (1) the Buddha statue cabinet product with light which was lightened within the cabinet theoretically, which made the Buddha statue body could glisten more, (2) the safety lighting product in a bathroom, which was lightened by dc 12 volt and LED, which could guarantee safety from the electricity in the lighting system, (3) the LED light meter product, which applied LED as a light detector to be used instead of the former light sensor, which made its price cheaper, and (4) the bicycle LED headlight product that used wind energy from bicycle cycling to rotate the wind turbines and make the bicycle headlight which was an LED lightened. The testing showed that the prototype products could be used according to the specifications.
