การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาข้อบกพร่องด้านการใช้ภาษา สาเหตุและวิธีการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องด้านการใช้ภาษาในการเขียนงานวิชาการของนักศึกษาครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาไทย การเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ผู้วิจัยใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง คือ นักศึกษาครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาไทยชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 61 คน ที่ศึกษาในรายวิชาการเขียนเชิงวิชาการ ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ งานเขียนวิชาการ ประเภทเรียงความ โครงการ บทความวิชาการ บทความวิจารณ์ และบทความวิเคราะห์ รวมทั้งสิ้น 305 ฉบับ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ตารางวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลผลการวิจัยพบว่า ข้อบกพร่องด้านการใช้ภาษา เรียงลำดับจากจำนวนมากไปหาน้อย มีดังนี้ 1) ข้อบกพร่องในการสะกดคำ จำนวน 365 คำ ได้แก่ ส่วนประกอบของคำผิด ส่วนประกอบของคำ ไม่สมบูรณ์ ส่วนประกอบของคำเกิน และส่วนประกอบของคำผิดหลายลักษณะ 2) ข้อบกพร่องในการใช้คำ จำนวน 122 คำ ได้แก่ การใช้คำผิดความหมาย การใช้คำที่มีความหมายขัดแย้งกัน การใช้คำปฏิเสธซ้อนคำปฏิเสธ การใช้คำระดับภาษาปาก การใช้คำราชาศัพท์ผิด การใช้คำย่อผิด การใช้คำฟุ่มเฟือย และการใช้คำทับศัพท์โดยไม่จำเป็น 3) ข้อบกพร่องในการเขียนประโยค ได้แก่ โครงสร้างผิด และการใช้สำนวนต่างประเทศ สาเหตุของข้อบกพร่องด้านการใช้ภาษา ได้แก่ 1) ขาดความรอบรู้ 2) ขาดความแม่นยำ 3) ขาดการตรวจทาน 4) ขาดการฝึกฝน 5) ขาดทัศนคติที่ดี วิธีการแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องด้านการใช้ภาษา ได้แก่ 1) การเสริมสร้างความรู้ 2) การเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่น 3) การฝึกทักษะการเขียน 4) การตรวจทานงานเขียน 5) การปลูกฝังนิสัยรักการอ่าน 6) การปลูกฝังนิสัยรักการเขียน 7) การปลูกฝังทัศนคติที่ดี

The purposes of this research study were to study problems in language use, cause, and solution for the problems in the academic writing of undergraduate students of education in Thai language. 61 undergraduate students of education in Thai language purposively selected as subjects since they registered in Academic Writing course. Data were collected from the subjects included essays, projects, academic articles, reviews, and analysis articles. In total, there were 305 copies. The instrument in this study was data analysis table. It was found that the problems in the use of language can be arranged from the greatest mistake to the least as follows: 1) spelling mistake (365 words) including misspelling, incomplete word, longer words and other related mistakes, 2) problems in the word selection (122 words) including selecting word with wrong meaning, selecting words with conflict meaning, the use of negation overlapping other negation, selecting spoken language, selecting wrong royal vocabulary, selecting wrong abbreviations, the use of flowery words, the use of transliterated words where it is not necessary, and 3) problem in writing a sentence including wrong structure, the use of foreign pattern. The causes of the problems in using language consist of 1) lack of knowledge, 2) lack of accuracy, 3) lack of re-check, 4) lack of practice, and 5) lack of good attitudes. The solution of the aforementioned problems can be 1) knowledge building, 2) strengthen confidence, 3) practice in writing, 4) recheck the writing piece, 5) implanting the love to read, 6) implanting the love to write, and 7) implanting a good attitude.
